The purpose of our fair is to give our high school students the opportunity to talk and network with prospective participants and learn more regarding job trends, opportunities, salaries, work standards, employee expectations, educational requirements, and to continue building a strong partnership between our school district and the community. Students will have the opportunity to meet participants as business professionals, as well as explore different career areas and have a chance to get first hand knowledge about a possible career interest.
In addition to Career Participants, we invited organizations looking for employees and volunteers. Students will have the chance to talk directly to businesses and have the chance to learn first-hand about having a job or volunteer position.
If you are looking for a summer job, talk to professionals at the fair! We invited local employers such as Harris Teeter to talk about job opportunities.
If you are looking for volunteer hours, we invited organizations like the YMCA to talk about positions available.
