The idea for Tigerfest originated from Humanities Fest, thought up by CHHS students in 1969 as the perfect way for students to have a chance to explore their interests by providing sessions of fun and self-expression. From Humanities Fest grew Tigerfest, a day to relieve all the stress from AP exams and end of the year chaos. We take a regular day of school and turn it into an all-school day event where students get to choose sessions that interest them and then attend those fun and educational sessions throughout the day. Then, lunch is a fun carnival with bouncy houses, performances from our very own bands, and good food (including free cotton candy!)
